Eric spent $22.00, including sales tax on 2 jerseys and 3 pairs of socks. The jerseys cost $6.75 each and the total sales tax was $1.03. How much did each pair of socks cost?

    6.75+6.75=13.50+1.03 for tax = 14.53

    Take 22.00

    Now 3 divided into 7.47 = 2.49 apiece for socks

    So 6.75
