A bridge club had 22 members with a mean age of 68. Then two new members joined. One was 62 years old, and the other was 80 years old. How did the mean age change after they joined?

    Hello,

    (22*68+62+80) / 24=68.25 = = >68 years

    As age is a whole number, the mean age does not change.

    If we may calculate in months or days, the mean age is changed.
