The auditorium of the music center has 3 sections. Each section has 24 rows of seats. Sections A and C have 15 seats in a row. Section B has 20 seats in a row. How many seats are in the auditorium?

    If A and C have 15 per row take 24•15

    You then get 360

    For row C it's the same, so 360

    Row A & C

    720

    Row B

    24•20

    480

    720+480

    1200 seats total

    Assuming the # is divided equally

    24/3 = 8 rows per section

    (15*16) + (20*8)

    240+160

    400 seats in the whole auditorium
