    The solution to the quadratic equation given by:

    6x^2+2x-20=0

    will be:

    6x^2+2x-20=0

    factoring the above we get:

    6x^2+12x-10x-20=0

    6x (x+2) - 10 (x+2) = 0

    (6x-10) (x+2) = 0

    hence:

    6x=10

    x=10/6=5/3

    or

    x+2=0

    x=-2

    Thus the answer is:

    x=5/3

    x=-2
