    Given f (x) = - 3g (x) - 2h (x) + 3, find the derivative, f ' (x):

    f ' (x) = - 2g ' (x) - 2h ' (x)

    Substituting the given values for g ' (3) and h ' (3):

    f ' (x) = - 2 (8) - 2 (6) = - 16 - 12 = - 28 (answer)
