At Pizza Hut they have exponential pizza, which is a 24-inch cheese pizza that costs $17.50. Each topping for the pizza costs $2.35. If Cardona ordered the exponential pizza and was charged $29.25, how many toppings were on his pizza? Write an equation and solve it.

    So you would want to find what would add up to $29.25

    So for the toppings ($2.35*5) equals $12.75

    Now just add $17.50

    SO your equation is:

    (2.35*5) + 17.50=29.25
