    Let x be the first number

    let x+2 be the second

    and x + 4 be the third

    so t he sum of the first number and 2 times the third number is 46 more than the second number which mean

    x + 2 (x+4) = 46 + (x+2)

    x + 2x+8 = 46+x+2

    3x + 8 = 48 + x

    2x = 40

    x = 20

    the third number is x+4 = 20 + 4 = 24
