The ratio of adults to children attending the concert was 2 to 3. if there were 54 children, how many adults were there?

    I believe you divide 54 into 3 and the answer gives you 18 then you multiply it by 2 which is 36

    (18 * 2 to 3 * 18)

    2*18 is 36 for adults

    3*18 is 54 for children
