    X = monday

    2x = tuesday

    3/4 x = wednesday

    8.50x + 8.5 (2x) + 8.5 (3/4x) = 127.50

    8.50x + 17x + 6.375x = 127.50

    31.875x = 127.50

    x = 127.50 / 31.875

    x = 4

    Martin worked for 4 hours on Monday.
