1 kilogram is equivalent to 1,000 grams how many are in 3.5 kilogram

Answer is 3,500

Why its not 35,000 grams

    Because when converting from kilograms to grams, you multiply by 1,000. If 3.5kg was 35,000 kg, that would mean you multiply by 10,000. That's not the case however, as you only multiply by 1000.

    Because the answer would have to be 35 kilograms because 1 kilogram equivilates to 1,000 grams
