Sam packed some cookies in a right circular cylindrical can which has a radius of 5 inches and its height is 9 inches. What is the surface area of this can in terms of pi?

A. 90 pi squared

B. 140 pi squared

    The area of the circle is 25 pi

    There are two of them so that's 50 pi

    The circumference is 10 pi

    x9 is 90 pi

    Added together it makes 140
