9) A café puts 2 slices of ham into every ham sandwich. A slice of ham weighs 10g. If the café sells 500 sandwiches, how many 1.5kg packs of ham should they buy?

    2 ham slices : 1 ham sw.

    10 g/slice = 20 g/ham sw.

    500 ham sw. must use 10000 g = 10 kg. ham slice

    10/1.5 = 6.6666 ...

    so they should buy 7 packs
