    3 (d-8) - 5 = 9 (d+2) + 1

    3d - 24 - 5 = 9d + 18 + 1

    3d - 29 = 9d + 19

    3d = 9d + 48

    -6d = 48

    48/-6 = - 8

    d = - 8

    D=-8

    3 (-8-8) - 5 3 (-16) - 5=-48-5=-53

    9 (-8+2) + 1=9 (-6) + 1=-54+1=-53
