My school planted two trees when it was first opened. one one tree avficus was 6 feet tall when it was first planted and has grown 1.5 feet per year. the other freevan oak was seed and has grown 2feet per year when will the tree have the same height? how tall will the tree be when they get the same height. I need to solve this problem with all three methods.

    6 + 1.5x = 2x

    6 = 0.5x

    12 = x

    6 + 1.5 (12) = 24

    2 (12) = 24

    It will take them twelve years to have the same height.

    They both will be 24 feet when they have the same height.
