    Remember you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides

    4 (2y-6) + 3=11

    minus 3 both sides

    4 (2y-6) = 8

    divide both sides by 4

    2y-6=2

    add 6 to both sides

    2y=8

    divide both sides by 2

    y=4

    C is answer
