Your home company charges you by min last month you used 125 minutes and your bill was $37.50. This month you used 175 minutes how much will your home phone bill be this month?

    Let's dividey y by x, so y in this case would be 37.5 and x would be 125 minutes.

    37.5/125 =.3

    So the rate is. 3, let's now find the charge at 175 minutes.

    175*.3=52.5

    So it should've cost $52.50 this month.
