Hunter throws a basketball in the air with an initial velocity of 40 feet per second. He throws the basketball from a height of 8 feet. The height of the basketball, h, is modeled by the function h (t) - 16? + 40t+8, where t is the time in seconds. How high is the basketball after 2 seconds?
