Steven says "I would rather have 5/9 of $72 than 4/6 because I will get more to spend." Is he correct? Explain your answer.

    Steven is incorrect as 5/9 of 72 is less than 4/6 of 72. (5/9*72=5 * (72:9) = 5*8=40) (4/6*72=4 * (72:6) = 4*12=48)
