The flow of water from a water faucet can fill a 3 gallon container in 15 seconds. Give the ratio of gallons to seconds as a rate in gallons per second?

    3 gallons in 15 seconds would be 3/15

    so for 1 gallon 15/3 = 5

    it would be 1 gallon every 5 seconds so 1/5
