Okay. To find the amount of residents per square mile, divide the number of residents by square miles. When you do it right, you should get this.

Town A: 350 residents

Town B: 500 residents

By looking at the numbers, we can go ahead and eliminate A and C, because Town A has less residents, not more. Looking at the numbers and doing mental math, we see that Town B has more residents per square mile and when you subtract 500 and 350, you get 150.
