The owner of a horse farm has 500 yards of fencing to enclose a rectangular pasture one side of the pasture must be 150 yards long write and solve an equation that tells the length of the other side

    If the whole perimeter of the pasture is 500 yards, and one side is 150 yards (the opposite side is 150 as well), the other side has to be 100 yards (the equivalent being 100).

    Proof Check: 150+150=300 yds.

    100+100=200 yds.

    300+200=500yds.
