    Answer: Hello mate!

We know that in each day the factory could make 15,964 remote controls.

They packed the controls into boxes for shipping, and each box contains 24 remote controls, let's find the minimal number of boxes needed.

For this you need to divide the total amount of remote controls by the number of remote controls that fit in each box; this is:

    15964/24 = 665.166 ... boxes.

But you cant have a 0.166 of a box, so we need to round up this number:

    they neded 666 boxes.

now we want to know how many remote controls are in the last box.

you can obtain this knowing that the first 665 boxes are full, and the last box is 0.166 full

    A full box has 24 remote controls, then the last box has 0.166 ... * 24 = 4

Then the last box has 4 remote controls.

The total boxes is the dividend of 15,964 and 24. (Including the remainder)

The amount in the last box is the remainder.

    15,964/24

    Boxes: 667

    Amount in last box: 4
