Shayla filled 5 baskets of raspberries while hiking. Each basket contained 1 2/5 pounds of raspberries. She used 2 1/4 pounds to make raspberry jam. Shayla estimated that she has about 5 pounds of raspberries left. Explain how you know whether her estimate is reasonable

    1 2/5 pounds multiplied by 5 baskets is 7 pounds of berries. 7 pounds subtract 2 1/4 pounds is 4 3/4 pounds. Her estimation is reasonable because 4 3/4 pounds is about 5 pounds.
