A zucchini plant in Darnell's garden was 12 centimeters tall when it was first planted. Since then, it has grown approximately 0.5 centimeters per day.

a. Write a rule to describe the function. Explain what your variables represent.

b. After how many days will the zucchini plant be 0.195 meters tall?

    A. Y=12+0.5x. X represents the amount of days the plant has been growing. Y is the height of the plant in cm.

    B. First convert m to cm. (19.5cm). Then put it into function. 19.5=12+0.5x. When you solve for X, it is 15 days.
