What is slope of the line - 3y=8x - 5?

    When finding the slope of a line you need to get it into the form y=mx+b, m being your slope. So if you divide your entire problem by - 3 to isolate your y, you get y=-8/3x+5/3. This means that - 8/3 will be your slope.
