How many solutions does this linear system have?

y=2x-5

-8x-4y=-20

    You can simplify the second equation by divining both sides by 4

    Which gives you - 2x - y = - 5

    Rearrange the terms and it'll give you y=-2x+5

    -4y=8x-20

    y=-2x+5

    2x-5=-2x+5

    x=2.5

    2x*2.5-5=0

    -2x*2.5+5=0

    so (2.5,0)
