The city zoo is shaped like a triangle. Two perpendicular sides of the zoo measure 2.8 miles and 3.1 miles.

What is the area of the zoo?

    This a right angled triangle, so just multiply the two lenghts together (to get a square) then divide by 2. 8.68/2=4.34
