A class is making 7 flags. It takes 3/4of a yard of felt to make each flag. The total number of yards of felt needed is between which two numbers?

    C - 7 x 3/4 = 21/4, which is a full 5 yards plus some left over to finalize the last one, so between 5 and 6!

    3/4 = 0.75 0.75 x 7 = 5.25 or 5 1/4
