The smallest angle in a triangle is one-fourth the size of

the largest angle and half the size of the other angle in the

triangle. What is the measure of the largest angle? Round

to the nearest whole number if necessary.

    x = 1/4y

    y = 4x

    Let the third angle be z

    x = 1/2z

    z = 2x

    sum of triangles = 180

    x + y + z = 180

    x + 4x + 2x = 180

    x = 26

    Measure of largest angle = 4*26 = 104
