Matts dog weighs 30pounds. his dog weighs 20pounds more than his cat. write an equation that could be used to represent c, the weight, in pounds, of matts cat.

    Let Matt's dog's weight be x

    Matt's cat's weight = c = x + 30

    Although if the question has already given the dog's weight, why not just use it? Is there a typo in te question?
