What is the area of a parallelogram whose altitude is 14 inches and base is 4 inches

    To find the area of a parallelogram, just multiply the base and the altitude (I'm assuming that this is the same thing as height, which is the term I learned when I was taught this concept).

    14x4=56 square inches
