46/7 = 6.57
take the 6 from 6.57 and multiply it to your denominator
6 * 7 = 42
now take your numerator and subtract it from 42
46 - 42 = 4
take your numerator back
4 / 7
and put 42 infront
42 4/7 is the simplest form of 46/7 as a mixed number.
There is probably a better way to explain it but this is just how it goes through my head. Sorry if that was hard to understand.
