24 studemtsin Jamal's class are wearing tennis shoes. There are 30 students in his class. Jamal says 70% of his class is wearing tennis shoes. Is he correct? Explain your reasoning.

    He is incorrect because he would have to take 24 and divide it by 30 which is 0.8 then he would multiply that by 100 which would make it 80%.

    24/30 divide both the numerator and denominator by 3

    8/10 = 80/100 = 80%
