    The least possible even integer is 58

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let's let x be an even integer. The next three would be shown by x+2, x+4 x+6 so now we can add all these to equal 244. Shown with an equation would look like:

    x + x+2 + x+4 + x+6 = 244

    Combine like terms will be:

    4x+12=244

    Subtract 12 from both sides we will get

    4x=232

    Now Divide each side by 4

    x=58

    So now put x in the above equation and we get the numbers

    x=58,

    x+2 = 60

    X+4 = 62

    x+6 = 64

    The least one is 58

    x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3 > = 244

    =" 4x + 6 > = 244

    =" 4x > = 238

    =" x > = 238/4 > = 59.5

    since x is an integer ... least value of x is 60
