The length of a rectangle is 6 times it's width if the perimeter of the rectangle is 126 ft find its area

    Perimeter 4 sides X+X + 6x+6x = 14x

    14x=126

    X = 9

    Width is 9ft

    Length is 54ft

    Area = length times width

    9 times 54

    Area = 486 ft
