On a map the parimeter of a park is 0.251 meter. The actual perimeter of the park is 1,000 times as large. What is the actual parimeter of the park? Explain how you know using a place value chart.

    The actual perimeter of the park is 251 meters. You would need to move the decimal 3 spaces to the right in order to get your answer. OR you can just multiply. 251 times 1,000 to get your answer.
