Jill ran 6 1/4 miles at practice today. Amanda ran 3 7/8 miles at practice today. How many more miles did Jill run?

    2 and 3/8 because you must make the denominators the same by multiplying 1/4 by 2/2 so it would be 2/8 then taking your new numerator and denominator then add the 2 (Whole number) to 3 7/8 which is 5 and 7/8 and then add 3/8 so it comes to 6 and 1/4 so your answer is 2 and 3/8. Good luck!
