A pet store puts 9 rainbow fish into each of 6 tanks. If the pet store buys 3 more tanks, how many rainbow fish can be divided equally among all of the tanks?

    You could have 1 fish per tank because there is 9 fish and there was already 6 tanks to begin with and you bought 3 more tanks so 1 fish per tank

    Since theres two fish in three of the six tanks that you had just put the three fish that were extra in the three new tanks
