Our job is to sort and sack marbles for sale. a bag contains 55 marbles, some red and some green. if there are 11 red marbles, what is the ratio of red to green marbles?

    The answer is 1:4 because 55 - 11 = 44 so then you have 11 red and 44 green. Take the ratio 11:44 and simplify it to 1:4, and remember order matters. So you can't do 4:1.
