A shoe store is having a 35% off clearance sale. Sheila has a membership card which gives her an additional 20% discount every time she shops there after all other discounts are taken. How much did she finally pay if she bought a pair of shoes originally priced at 89.99? Explain your reasoning

    She finally payed $6.29 because you would take the original price $89.99 and take the clearance price off first which would be 89.99*.35=$31.49 then you take the $31.49 and multiply it by her membership discount which would be. 20 so take the 31.49*.20=$6.29
