OK so to solve this we will subtract 16x from 2x to get - 14x
-14x - 4y + 3x^2 + 7y
add - 4y and 7y to get 3y
-14x + 3x^2 + 3y
and then to simplify we are going to move the - 14x
3x^2 + 3y - 14x
