    Mr. Anderson

    x = entree

    y=side

    1x+2y=13.00

    solve x then plug in into Mr. Allens equation (2x+1y=19.50)

    x=13-2y

    plug

    2 (13-y) + y=19.50

    26-4y+y=19.50

    y=2.17

    plug y in to get x x+2 (2.17) = 13, solve x=8.66

    Mr Greene

    3x+2y

    3 (8.66) + 2 (2.17) = 30.32
