    The volume of the prism is given by:

    volume=length*width*height

    when the lengths were adjusted the new dimensions will be:

    length=2.5+1=3.5

    width=3+1=4 ft

    height=1.5 + 1=2.5 ft

    thus the volume will be:

    v=3.5*4*2.5

    v=35 cubic feet
