Write an algebraic proof for the following: given: 2/7x+6=10, prove x=14

    2/7x+6=10. Subtract 6 from both sides

    -6. - 6

    (7/2) 2/7x = 4 (7/2) Multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 2/7

    X = 14. The fractions cancels out and x=14
