    5.8 km - 2.79 km = 3.01 km

    3.01 km = 3010 m

    Do 5.8 km-2.79 km

    this gives you 3.01 km

since 1 kilometer is equal to 1000 meters, multiply 3.01 by 1000

    this gives you 3010 meters
