Simplify the following:
(18 + 14) / 2 - (18 - 14) ^2
| 1 | 8
- | 1 | 4
| 0 | 4:
(18 + 14) / 2 - 4^2
| 1 |
| 1 | 8
+ | 1 | 4
| 3 | 2:
32/2 - 4^2
The gcd of 32 and 2 is 2, so 32/2 = (2*16) / (2*1) = 2/2*16 = 16:
16 - 4^2
4^2 = 16:
16 - 16
16 - 16 = 0:
