90 people have rode in the wheel during the time

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given:

Total number of seats = 10

Number of people in each seat = 2

Total duration of the Ferris wheel = 30 minutes

After fifteen minutes, the wheel doubles its speed

    To Find:

How many people have ridden the wheel during this time = ?

    Solution:

It is given that for every 1 minute, seat is passed

    So in 15 minutes

15 x 2 = 30 people passed, meaning that 30 people have ridden the wheel

After 15 minutes the speed was doubled, that is the the number of seats passed will be 2, i. e, 4 people

so 15 x 4 = 60 people passed, meaning that 60 people have ridden the wheel

Thus totally 30+60 = 90 people have rode in the wheel during the time
