What is - 3x+2y=-24 and how do u solve it

    This is a slope intercept equation, y = mx + b. You want to get the y value by itself, so move the - 3x to the other side for an equation of 2y = 3x-24. Next you have to get y by itself, so divide away the two, and divide every other value by two also, getting y = 3/2x - 12. This should be your solved equation
