    Distance between 1st and 2nd = 5.7 meters

    Distance between 2nd and 3rd = 5.7 x 1/3

    So,

    5.7 + (1/3) (5.7) = 5.7 + 1.9 = 7.6 meters

    The answer is 7.6 meters
