    The terms in a geometric sequence are given by: A = ar^ (n-1)

    where A is the nth term in the sequence.

    a = first term in the sequence (-2)

    r = common ratio (-5)

    n = number of the term (4)

    A = (-2) (-5) ^ (4-1)

    A = (-2) (-5) ^ (3)

    A = (-2) (-125)

    A = 250
